I have a class for you!  Beginning the week of September 17th, I am offering 3 Specialized Workshop Series to assist you in growing on your yoga path, feeling good in your body, and experiencing the power of transformation through your practice:

Body Unwind: Mondays, 4:30pm-6:00pm *Focus is on releasing tension from hips and shoulders.

Teen Yoga: A Workshop Series for Girls: Wednesdays, 4:30pm-5:30pm *Focus is on building strength and grace through yoga choreography.

Power Your Core: A Headstand Practice: Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:30pm *Focus is on building core strength and using that to do a powerful headstand.

How are these different than regular classes?

-They are small group so you will receive a lot of personal attention to address your unique challenges and your particular goals.

-There is a very specific focus.  Every time you attend, you will know what you are working on, and because of that you will really be able to monitor and enjoy your progress.

-You will be with the same group of people the entire time, so you will all be on the same page, and true progress can occur without having to take steps back to accommodate new students.  You will have the support of your group, and completing the series will leave you with a feeling of accomplishment.

-I have a wide range of experience as a teacher and as a student, and weave together many styles to give you a unique practice experience that allows you to access your body in new and empowering ways. For more on what students are saying about my teaching and my classes, see here:

-Because there is a set beginning and end date, rather than a “drop in whenever you feel like it” format, you will find yourself far more dedicated to your practice.  That kind of dedication most often results in more yoga for you, which is always a good thing! I highly recommend and strongly encourage you to attend at least one other yoga class per week in addition to the workshop you choose, whether it is with me or any other fabulous teacher at the many fabulous studios around town.

These classes are located at Mind In Body (2313 Olive Avenue, Burbank, 91506) – Close to Studio City, Toluca Lake, Glendale, and a quick hop on the 101 from Hollywood.

If you already know you’ll be unable to attend one or two classes, don’t worry about it.  It is to be expected as that is the nature of our lives, and you will still get a lot out of the series.
