This smoothie is packed with nutrients and fiber, and tastes phenomenal! Great for breakfast or a midday snack. On evenings when I am teaching yoga, I have it for dinner so I can feel satisfied before class and still feel comfortable enough to teach.
Please excuse the rough measurements. That’s just how I roll in the kitchen. It’s fun to experiment with the proportions that work best for you!
Ingredients:
– 1/2 a banana
– 1/2 an avocado
– chunk of cucumber (about 1/4 of a regular size cucumber)
– handful of kale
– handful of swiss chard
– piece of fresh ginger
– juice of 1/2 a lemon
– ice
– about 3/4 cups of coconut water, depending on how thick you like it
Place all ingredients in a high power blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
