Momentum creates opportunities and surprises

Written by:

After my last video, I got an email from my friend and fellow YouTuber, JungYoo:

Dear Sasha,

I absolutely loved your recent YouTube video. You look amazing as well—truly beaming!

One of my biggest obstacles when it comes to setting goals and actually going for them is the question, “What for?” In other words, I often find myself wondering, “Is this really worth it?”

Sometimes I become very focused on one particular goal, only to find that things don’t unfold the way I expected—and strangely enough, something completely different happens instead.

So I’ve been wondering: how do you know whether your priorities are truly aligned with God’s plan—or with the universe, for those who aren’t religious?

How do you distinguish between something you genuinely need to pursue and something you’re simply trying too hard to make happen? OR is it what you want? I wish all things would go the way I want.I recently have noticed that I was using less of “I want to~”  So nowadays I am trying to do what I want rather than I have to. I guess as you age, you have more responsibilities.

I hope I’m making sense. I’d really love to hear your thoughts on this.

Warmly,

Jung

There’s so much gold in this email, and I was very excited to share my thoughts on these important questions in this week’s video.

Are you creating momentum toward your dreams? What are you learning along the way?
