For Christmas this year, I gifted myself two nights at an adorable Air BnB out in the woods, just 20 minutes from my home. The purpose was to attend to some personal internal matters that were weighing on me, surrounded by nature, in a cozy rustic environment. I wanted to work through a grief recovery process, and start the year light and free.
My mini adventure exceeded expectations, and I consider it a smashing success! I really can’t recommend solo retreat time enough, to work through the backlog of emotional events, recalibrate, and pull yourself fully into the present.
I share my experience, take you on nature walks, and give you a tour of the magical forest dome that held me so beautifully, in the video below:
